I Just Can’t Stop Thinking About Nadya Suleman

The way people are nit-picking her money use is just…wow

OctoMom blew some of her hard-earned handout money on one tube of clear lip-gloss from Nordstrom, which ran the food stamp user a cool $14.50 plus tax. In comparison, a 48-pack of pampers usually runs around $16.99

ok so now folks are really begrudging this woman a $14 tube of lip-gloss, are you kidding me? egads.

The Angelina thing is making me think of the old story ‘the emperors’ new clothes’ you know what I mean? When will someone in the media stand up and say this woman does not really look much like Angelina Jolie? I mean come on now. I just don’t see this ‘striking’ and ‘uncanny’ and ‘dramatic’ resemblance to angelina. Everyone else seems to see this supposed strong resemblance, and to have seen it ‘instantly’ no less. I’m like uh, ok she looks a little like Angelina, in a maybe they could be 2nd cousins or something sort of way. I think it’s mass hypnosis or mass auto-suggestion LOL

and at the end of the day, neither she nor her doctor did this in order for her to have 8 babies. Fame/infamy was not the goal here for either of them. Sure he was wrong to implant 6 embryos, but given her previous pregnancy success rate where he did the same thing, only 1 baby resulted four times, a 5th time resulted in twins. So….why people are so stuck on believing he and she did it for money and fame and whatnot is beyond me. They both thought she’d have one more baby, maybe two, and that would be the end of it. All the babies caught and some split. She has the right to choose not to abort any of them, just like Jon & Kate chose not to. They now have a TV show (just like the Duggars who have 17 kids, or is it 18 now) that helps financially support their family, but Nadya can’t even get free diapers without folks threatening to boycott any company that helps her. WTH! There are actual petitions circulating around to oppose any company that helps this woman.

I’m not embarrassed to admit I’ve spent way more than 30 minutes reading about, watching about, and discussing this woman and her situation. because I feel like I can’t be silent while she gets so thoroughly trounced. I know what it’s like to have your motherhood so totally shit on.
