I’m making most of my gifts for extended family & friends, including quilts for each of my kids. And extended friends/family are also getting a gift certificate to my bookstore.

I have 2 teenagers, ages 19 and 14, and one tween, age 11, so they like the techie stuff too. I got some great deals on ebay, an ipod shuffle for $20, a cannon digital camera for $25, and some wii/xbox/DS games for $9 each at gamestop, a video game store that sells used and new games for practically every system.

My 19 year old already has an ipod and bunch of other tech stuff from previous years, all she really wants this year is an upright bass but the only way we can get it right now is to get on a payment plan. They are so expensive!! like thousands of dollars. But I found some on ebay for under $600 including shipping, but that is still way out of my price range right now. I am scouring craigslist/newspapers/pawn shops to see if I can’t find an economical (meaning under $200) used one local, if not I will just save up and get her one in May for her birthday.
