Tailwind of Huricane Ike Hit Northeast Ohio Hard September 15th 2008

We got hit with the tail wind from Hurricane Ike yesterday. We lost power late afternoon, and the power was out until early afternoon today. We watched the storm from the balcony until it got very bad and we had to go in. The wind speed got as high as 70mph, and it was very scary to see and hear large branches breaking off of trees. Some of the smaller trees actually bent over from the wind. and to think this was just a little bit of the full impact of the hurricane!

Here is T-bop piling up some of the debris in the back yard. He and S-bop and some of their friends did a good job cleaning up the yard.
