Happy Father’s Day to my dad, father-in-law, and Mercury Man. What a great day! I actually got to see my dad as yesterday was I-bop’s graduation party. He and my mother came for that and stayed over. They left early this morning. It was great to see them!
We had a nice relaxing day today. my goal was for Mercury Man to have a day with nothing to do but be pampered and relax. I often think he doesn’t do as much parenting as I do or work around the house but when there is a day he doesn’t do anything I can really tell!
He got to sleep in late and played his favorite video game while the kids and I went shopping for his present. Then we took him to the beach and had a nice picnic and swim. It was such a beautiful, balmy day. Now we’re back home and about to have dessert, an oreo cream pie. The Boy Bops presented it to him humming the theme to Star Wars, Mercury Man’s favorite movie. LOL!
He is such a great dad. I am honored and deeply blessed to have him as my children’s father.

What a wonderful entry. Fathers are to be honored just as much as mothers should be. Too bad the media makes them out to be such doofuses much of the time. However, those of us with a good man know better!
