MIL Madness
I have been with Mercury Man 11 years, married for 8, and I have been through the war with his mother and back. We have both undergone a lot growth and maturity so that has helped a great deal. Here are some things that helped me and might help you is you are having issues [...]
What I’m Reading: Week of 4/22/07
It’s a slow week on the reading front for me as I am swamped with work, so just one book this week. I’m re-reading the four Agreements by Don Luis Ruiz. I have had this book for some time and have read it many times. It is awesome, get it if you can. One of [...]
I’m Going to BlogHer
I missed BlogHer last year and it seemed like a cool event. I checked it out and I’m planning on going, if only to their first-ever “Un-Conference” session: BlogHer Open Space. It’s just $21.75, so it doesn’t cost much besides transportation. I have friends in Chicago I could crash with too, it’ll be fun.
Night Biking and the Dark Blue Sky
We left the library late last night, it was just getting dark. As I’ve mentioned before I take most of my pics with my phone camera, so the quality is not that good. I hardly ever get good night pics, for example. but the sky last night was so pretty, i had to try. Check [...]

Sesame Street Funness: Telephone Rock
Remember this one!? Oh, this brings back so many happy memories. I love Sesame Street.
Kurt Vonnegut RIP
My 2 favorite sci-fi writers are dead. Octavia Butler and now Kurt Vonnegut. I love these people. My word. I am unable at this time to express the grief I feel. His writing affected me in profound ways. Here is some info on Kurt Vonnegut:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_Vonnegut
Your Trula Mama Public Service Alert: Floss Your Teeth
Flossing goes a long way in helping to prevent gum disease. Gum disease is so nasty because it can affect your heart. I think dentists over time noticed that patients with severe gum disease had other non-dental issues. and physicians with patients with those same issues noticed that many if not all of them had [...]
Easter Baskets 2007
It snowed heavily here the Saturday before Easter and neither me nor Mercury Man wanted to go to the store to get Easter goodies…we kept putting it off. I usually make their baskets but kept putting that off as well. Long story short I went to bed intending to lay down for a little bit [...]
Cheap & Crafty Easter Baskets
Here are the easter baskets I made for my kids last year, out of cardboard boxes, pics of the kids, crayons, newspaper, and blue duct tape. I started making these about 5 years ago because we were broke one easter and could not afford baskets, and they were such a hit I made them every [...]
MSPmedia
You may have noticed some changes to the layout in the past couple of days. I am making some changes with my business and expanding some of the services I provide for people such as web design, writing business plans, and more. I also want to build a websource site for indie media, sort of [...]
What I’m Reading: Week of 4/2/07
This week I’m re-reading Of Human Bondage by W. Sommerset Maugham
and The Power of a Positve No by William Ury.
I really need this book as I am often overworked and overwhelmed which means I don’t get lots of things done. I need to leanr how to say No effectively so I can concentrate on producing [...]
My Sesame Street Friends
If you didn’t know before, you know now: I LOVE SESAME STREET.
Ibop as Miss Gulch from the Wizard of OZ
My daughter ibop, played Miss Gulch in the Wizard of Oz (and a munchkin and an emerald city resident). She did a fantastic job!! I am so proud of her. I was amazed at the physical transformation alone; my daughter is a slender girl, about 120ish pounds, and 5 foot 6 inches, but she managed [...]
