My son Todd as Albert Einstein. He is in 3rd grade and his class did a presentation of famous people who made contributions to the world. Each kid did a trifold with info on their person, and they had to pretend to be wax statues of the person. Then when you walked up to them they started talking about what they did and biographical info about them. It was very cool. He picked Albert Einstein and did a very good job, he really got into it. We may have a budding actor! He stood stock-still in profile until someone walked up to him, then he would slowly turn, he did it so he looked like he was on a moving dais. The effect was too cool and he thought of it himself!!

He maintained this solemn pose between speeches, LOL. That is baby powder in his hair, it washed right out, and just eyeliner for the mustache. The kids all had to dress up like their person but no makeup on skin or wigs. The kids got to pick their person and many kids picked people different colors from them, but t-bop picked Einstein because, in his words, ‘he has wild cool hair like mine’ :) and plus he knew of him from books I have laying around the house.

This is him impersonating the famous pic of Einstein with his tongue out, LOL

Here he is with me, I’m so proud of him! He tends to be shy and quiet so I felt a little trepidation for him about having to speak up and in front of so many people, but he did fine! I am so glad I bit my tongue and didn’t say anything to him about being shy or not worrying about people looking at him or none of that. That might have affected his confidence. He did a wonderful job and I am just so proud of him.

This is afterwards, each student also did a power point presentation on their person and they took us into the media lab to show it to us.
