Yes, I do one every month the day after my period (because that just makes it easier for me to remember to do). I got started on this back when I got my nipples first pierced years ago…the head piercer was/is also a R.N and he told me lots of free wonderful health breast advice which included doing self exams. Mercury Man also had an aunt who died of breast cancer in ’99 but it took a while for it to set in that this is something I should do regularly.
I am now 195!! Woooot! Remember I started the challenge at 210. The weight is just melting off me, and I am thrilled. After I did my morning poop I weighed myself and could not believe my eyes, just yesterday I was 196. I got dressed and weighed myself again. 195. Drank some water, weighed again. 195. I am going to weigh myself later at the Y, maybe. Smiling I think it must have been the 2 extra spinning classes this week, especially that hour long one. According to my calorie meter I burned nearly 800 calories!! in that class, then 300+ on the treadmill afterwards.
My goal is to burn 1,000 calories daily through exercise every day. A pound is 3,500 calories, so in a week I will have burned through 2 pounds of fat. The rest of my weekly weight loss should be from not overeating and drinking lots of water. By this time next week I might be in the 180s!!! But if not that’s ok, I know I will be there (and only briefly at that) soon.
Spinning class again tonight with regular teacher. She also does one early Saturday mornings, I may try to go this Saturday.
So far today I did my yoga (very early, about 630am) and went for a quick walk, just a mile (2000+ steps). I did it in 12 minutes, one of my best times lately. I have to work the rest of the morning, then after lunch I’ll do a 2 mile walk (4000+ steps). Then another quick mile (2000+ steps) after dinner. The rest I’ll do at the Y tonight.
Today’s Goals
1/2 hour yoga
45 minutes spinning class
1/2 hour treadmill
12,000 steps
No salt added to food
Brush & floss after every meal
120 oz. of water
One serving meals, no seconds
Raw veggies snacks
Raw fruit dessert
Bedtime 10pm/Wakeup 6am
Weight loss by day 31 – 15 pounds
