Tuesday

The question of the day is: What do you think about while you’re exercising?

I intially think about how long I have to go before I’m done, then after a few minutes I feel ok and then I think about whatever writing project I’m working on for that day, or stuff I need to do for my business that day or the next.

If I’m really stressing about the exercise I think about Dr. Oz and how he was on Oprah yelling about omentum fat, and how if I ever come across him (he’s a Cleveland Dr.) I’m going to either kick his ass or thank him profusely for making me aware of how dangerous all the fat on my abdomen is. I could have lived my whole life without seeing that, really. He had somebody’s huge omentum and he was shaking it around, and I think it was from somebody who was *only* 40 pounds overweight when they died. It’s supposed to look like a thin sheet of tissue paper but when you are very overweight it looks (and feels) very thick, like the stuffing inside a comforter or pillow.
