T-bops Family Traditions

T-bop just got done with his homework. He’s in third grade. He had to write about an important tradition in our family and use 8 spelling words out of 14. These are the words he chose:

ready
remember
right
really
need
since
sausage
grateful
(words he did not choose were question, write, knead, sentence, archaeology and geography)

This is what he wrote:

One family tradition of ours is on Fridays we have tofu stirfry. I really like it. We have been doing this since last year. Tofu is chewy but it is not like sausage. It needs seasoning to be spicy. Right now I am hungry just thinking about it. I remember last Friday like it was yesterday. I am always ready to help my mom cook this meal. I am grateful that my mom is a good cook and makes us tofu stirfry.
