MamaGathering is an alternative multi-cultural conference for radical mothers. Children and male partners welcome, expected, and included, however this is a mama-focused event. Some workshops will be women only. MamaGathering is a conference and planning session all in one. Discussions and workshops include motherhood and parenting, but we will also discuss politics, education, health issues, media, and more. You’ll learn how to apply these ideas in your own community. -Money & Budgeting (with an emphasis on low-income)

-Cooking & Feeding on a Small Budget

-Raising Activist Kids
-Natural Family Planning
-Breastfeeding as Activism
-Building Mama Community
Educating Kids: pros & cons of public, private, & home school
-Being a Sex Positive Mama (includes info on monogamy as well as non-mainstream practices such as polyamory)

Registration is FREE with a suggested donation of $5 per family to help cover our costs.
