Brownfemipower has declared today Blogging for Radical Fun Day! she wrote:

And what is blogging for radical fun day you ask? It is the day when all us radical/progressive bloggers get to forget about angry trolls, forget about the fifty papers we have to grade, forget about the much too tiny bank account, the dead babies and the oppressive bush regime. It is a day that we can dance and dance and learn about each other from the perspective of our likes, rather than our dislikes. It is a day to laugh and laugh and laugh!!!

I think this is so cute. Ok, as you may know I am a HUGE Sesame Street fan, so I’m off to YouTube to watch some oldie but goodie Sesame Street videos as my blogging radical fun activity. Here’s a classic for ya:

I haven’t watched Sesame Street in ages but my older kids grew up watching it ALL of the time. My favorites were the yip yips, you know, the furry monsters from space who would examine the phone ringing and talk in alien language trying to figure out what it was; they’d suggest things to each other and say, “noooooooooooooo” or “yep yep yep yep yep!” Sometimes I think about the yip yips when I watch discussions online; somebody shows up in a conversation and says some odd thing and everybody gathers around and says some variation of, “ohhhhhh! nooooooo! eh????? yip yip yip yip!” :D

Anyway, thanks for bringing Sesame Street into blogging for fun day and thanks for the links to my second blog, too!
