Day 1 went ok. I felt hungry in the morning, which surprised me because I usually have to force myself to eat breakfast. But my body missed that bowl of oatmeal! I sipped on the fasting drink throughout the day, In total I drank about 60 oz of that and 66 oz of water (two 33 oz. bottles). I was expecting a caffeine-withdrawal reaction, but had none. I don’t drink coffee every day so it may not hit me until Day 2 or 3.

I was very tired in the afternoon and had to take a nap after I got done with my work. I slept from 230ish to 538pm. I remember the kids coming in and talking to me after school, then Brian, and me falling right back asleep. When I woke up I was astonished at how long I’d slept because for me a nap means 20 minutes, half-hour tops. I was upset because I figured I wouldn’t be able to sleep later on. But that wasn’t the case.

I sat with my family while they had dinner. I didn’t want to cook because I was afraid I’d be tempted to eat a little something, so Brian did dinner. I didn’t want to eat at all, but I felt very thirsty, I drank a whole bottled water then. My energy was back up; I had enough energy to wash some clothes, work on my sewing, cut the boys’ hair, and get some orders out for my biz. By 930pm I was ready for bed, and asleep by 10pm.
