I made arrangements to catch up on my student loan payments, $300 is coming out of my account today. It took me forever to make the call, and once I did I regret not doing it sooner. What was I so afraid of? The woman I spoke with was very kind and explained to me in detail what I needed to do to get myself out of default on my loans, and walked me step by step through the arrangement…it all could have been avoided in the first place if I had just sent in my deferment papers on time. I have got to get over this money phobia this year, this is ridiculous.
