I’ev been bootstrapping my biz for nearly 5 years and it’s not getting me very far. I’ve been avoiding outside sources of money but I’m getting more inclined to get some as time goes by. Some things I’ve been musing on:

I can try putting an ad in the paper seeking investors (might be quick expect to payback HIGH interest.

I can apply for a SBA loan (takes a long time) http://www.sba.gov/financing/

I can ask everyone close to me, friends and family, to invest small amounts. Like say I need $5,000, I can try asking 100 people for $50.

I can get a 2nd job, a part-time job and use that to fund my projects.

I can try selling pre-view copies of my projects again.

I can try searching on google trying various terms like ‘angel investors’ ‘private funding’ and ‘cash wanted business’, or whatever. I did that and got these:
