I’ve heard about The FlyLady for awhile on the net on various women and mama-oriented message boards. Just checked the site out today, and it tripped me out. The whole concept and all the books are probably a big help and it’s a really great idea. I just can’t see having a planner devoted solely to housework. Still. I’ve got to do something.

A cousin of mine found out about a housekeeper who has reasonable rates. That is really what I need, because even if I got all organized like The FlyLady suggests, I would still hate housework, still feel real resentful. ‘Cause I feel like I shouldn’t have to clean up after a grown man and school-age children, one of whom is in high school, but I either have to keep on top of everyone to do their fair share or do it all myself. Bleh, either way.

She makes some really good points, though, I love this site. Since it will be a minute before I can get a housekeeper, I think I’ll try some of her suggestions and routines.
